Mazer earned the individual championship at the Hood Invitational as the top runner among 105 competitors on Saturday. Mazer finished the run in 23:14, edging second-place Kara Taylor from St. Mary's by four seconds. Mazer has now placed in the top five in three events this season, but this was her first win.

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll

Monica Lannen | Christopher Newport | Jr.
Lannen led the Captains at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Invitational on Saturday. In a meet featuring 17 nationally-ranked programs, Lannen placed 92nd in the 6k, which included 349 competitors. The junior eventually completed the course in 23:42.4. 

Sarah McCurry | Frostburg State | Jr.
McCurry finished first for the Bobcats at the Roaring Lions Invitational at Penn State Fayette ... She captured third place overall with a time of 25:34.4. 

Kara Taylor | St. Mary's | So.
Taylor finished second overall out of 105 total runners at the Hood Open with a time of 23:18.7.

Taylor Barkdoll | York | Fr.
Barkdoll was York's top finisher at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan on Saturday. Barkdoll posted a personal best time of 22:43.1 as she finished 50th in the loaded field. York finished 11th of 39 teams at the event.
