SPARKS, Md. – The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team landed three Sea Gulls –
Abby Fleishell,
Julianna Ott and
Audrey Harrington – on the 2025 USA Lacrosse Magazine DIII All-American teams,
as announced by the outlet on Wednesday. Fleishell earned first-team praise while Ott landed on the second team and Harrington was tabbed an Honorable Mention All-American.
Fleishell, a junior defender from Sykesville, Md., headlined a strong Sea Gull defensive group in 2025, locking down team and career-highs with 39 ground balls and 32 caused turnovers while trailing only Ott on the team with 56 draw controls. She was crowned the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Defensive Player of the Year as a key cog in a scoring defense that ranks 30th in Division III.
Ott, a junior midfielder from Woodbine, Md., has been one of SU's top talents in all areas of the field this season, leading the team with 73 draw controls while punching in 39 goals and adding 12 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. Ott boasts eight goals and 13 draw controls over SU's last three games.
Harrington, a junior attacker from Ellicott City, Md., took a jump to the starting attack in stride and rolled to a C2C Offensive Player of the Year campaign, boasting 69 points on 32 goals and 37 assists with four game-winning goals entering the Tufts regional. She found the onion bag three times in Sunday's second-round win including the deciding score with just seven seconds remaining.
The All-America laurels are the first in each Sea Gull's career.
The Sea Gulls travel to Medford, Mass. for NCAA regional action to face St. John Fisher on Saturday, May 17th at 10:30 a.m. with a spot in Sunday's regional final against the winner between Tufts and Pomona-Pitzer on the line.
