Fleishell, Harrington secure IWLCA All-American laurels

SU's dynamic duo secures second All-America selections of 2025

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team saw a pair earn places on the 2025 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America teams, as announced by the association on Friday afternoon. Abby Fleishell was named a First-Team All-American while Audrey Harrington was chosen for the Second Team.

Fleishell, a junior defender from Sykesville, Md., led the Sea Gull defense admirably in 2025, posting team-highs in both ground balls (45) and caused turnovers (36) while trailing only Julianna Ott in draw controls (59). She shattered her prior career marks in each of those categories while starting all 21 games for SU this season.

The Century High School product headlined a defensive group that allowed a stingy 7.86 goals per game, ranking atop the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) and 27th in Division III. Her clip of 1.71 forced miscues per game finished inside the top five in the conference as well.

Harrington, a junior attacker from Ellicott City, Md., officially arrived in 2025, posting a team-high 76 points on 34 goals and 42 assists with four game-winning tallies during the campaign. The third-year catalyst put 78.9 percent of her looks on cage, good for the best clip of any Sea Gull with more than 10 total shots.

The Mount Hebron product led the C2C and ranked 50th nationally in total helpers while slotting 73rd in DIII dishing out two assists per game. She logged four efforts with four or more assists, including a six-point effort (two goals, four assists) against Tufts in the regional final.

Both Fleishell and Harrington collect their second All-American honors of the season after garnering USA Lacrosse Magazine praise last week. The pair also landed on the IWLCA's All-Chesapeake Region teams for their efforts.

The program has now seen 80 student-athletes named All-Americans dating back to 1978, with Fleishell becoming the 41st first-teamer in team history while Harrington becomes the 19th second-teamer. Ott also secured a second-team selection from USA Lacrosse as well.
Salisbury University is a proud member of NCAA Division III with primary membership in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference, along with affiliate membership in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (football, men's & women's swimming) and the Coastal Lacrosse Conference (men's lacrosse).
