Four straight C2C Titles for UC Santa Cruz
UC Santa Cruz has won both the 2024 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships for the fourth consecutive year at Lee Hall Mansion in Newport News, Virginia.
UCSC recorded a perfect team score of 15 points with the top five finishers in the men’s 8K. The Banana Slugs Luke Holland claimed the men’s crown (25:29.09) with teammates Graeme Maclean, Eric Anderson, Camden Hebert, and Benthan Vu rounding out the top five spots.
On the women’s side, UCSC posted a team score of 28 points with five runners in the top nine over the 6K course. The Banana Slugs Helena Janku captured the individual title (22:10.80) for the second straight year. Hanna Hekkanen and Sara Teitelbaum placed fourth and sixth, respectively.
