Frostburg State, Marymount and St. Mary's Men's Swimming Compete at Randolph-Macon Yellow Jacket Invitational

A trio of CAC men's swimming teams competed at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon this weekend. The two-day event featured 11 teams, including CAC squads Frostburg State, Marymount and St. Mary's. 

St. Mary's led the way with a fifth-place finish with 362.5 points, followed by Marymount in sixth (336) and Frostburg State in ninth (41). 

Several CAC competitors registered top-five finishes in their respective events. St. Mary's senior Thor Petersen claimed third in the 200 breastroke, while classmate Jimmy Forest took fifth in the 200 backstroke. 

Marymount's Matt Essig finished third in the 200 freestyle and fourth in the 200 backstroke, while Will Bryan took third in the 100 breastroke, and Collin Chartier recorded a fourth-place mark in the 1650 freestyle. Joseph Gardner added a fifth-place finish in the 200 breastroke for the Saints.
