Mary Washington Junior Alex Anderson Named NCAA Division III Championship Men's Swimmer Of The Meet
Mary Washington junior Alex Anderson, who won two individual gold medals and three All-America awards, was named the Swimmer of the Meet at the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's national championships.
Anderson, the two-time CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Year, won the 400 individual medley for the second-straight year at the NCAA Championships and followed with a gold-medal performance in the 200 butterfly.
On the first day of the championship, he finished second in the 200 IM, compiling 57 points to finish in 17th place out of 51 teams that scored points at the national championships.
