2006 Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country All-Conference Teams

ST. MARY’S CITY, MD - Salisbury University, the 2006 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champion, and second-place Mary Washington both put six runners on the men’s cross country All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office.

Salisbury Sweeps 2006 CAC Cross Country Championships

The Salisbury University men's and women's cross country teams repeated as Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champions at the 2006 CAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon. The University of Mary Washington finished second in both the men's and women's championships.

Salisbury University junior Buck Stokes (Lothian, MD/Southern) has been named as the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 15. This is the second time this season that Stokes has been honored with this award.

York College’s sophomore Jesse Jaeger (Kingsville, MD/Perry Hall) has been named as the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 8. This is the third time this season that he has captured this award.
