The 2019 CAC Women's Golf Championship continued on Friday, April 19 at the Golden Horseshoe Resort's Green Course, par 72 layout in Williamsburg, Va. 

Christopher Newport bounced back in round two to fire 318 (+30) to pull even with York for the team lead heading into the final round on Saturday. CNU's Erica Whitehouse, the 10th ranked player in the country, fired an even-par round of 72 - the best round of the day by seven strokes.

Whitehouse holds a two-shot advantage at +13 over Mary Washington's Andrea Dill who has carded rounds of 80-79 (+15) through two days. Mary Washington jumped into third place after a round of 369 on Friday.

York fired a second round 334 (+46) after Anna Moore (+17) carded 80 to place third after day two, while her teammate Jordan Koller (+19) posted 82 to sit in fourth position. Shelby Tapman is tied-for-sixth place after at +25 for the event.

Southern Virginia rounds out the team standings following a round of 395. 

Final round action begins early Saturday at 7:30 a.m. on the Green Course.
