St. Mary's junior Kelly Heyde picked up three individual wins Saturday to lift the Seahawks to a 142-63 victory at Salisbury, finishing SMC's CAC dual meet schedule with a 6-0 mark for the first time in team history.

Less than 24 hours after SMC suffered its only dual meet setback of the season at 4th-ranked Johns Hopkins, Heyde won the 200 freestyle (2:23.14), 200 backstroke (2:36.26) and 200 breaststroke (2:53.42) for the Seahawks, who improved to 13-1 overall for the season.  Kelsey Abernathy also added a pair of individual wins for SMC.

The SMC men also topped the Sea Gulls by a 126-79 margin to finish in a three-way tie for first place with Mary Washington and York, all with 5-1 CAC dual meet records.  Thor Petersen, Cameron Hedquist and Billy DeBoissiere all had two individual wins for SMC.

At York, the Spartans' women's swimming team completed their 2011-2012 regular season slate in winning fashion Saturday afternoon in York, defeating visiting Frostburg 142-66 in Capital Athletic Conference action. With the victory, the Spartans improve 7-8 overall on the season while the Bobcats drop to 3-9.  The York College men's swimming team posted a regular-season-ending 139-50 victory over Capital Athletic Conference foe Frostburg St. on Saturday afternoon in York. With the win, the Spartans improve 11-4 overall on the season while the Bobcats drop to 3-8.

At Gallaudet, the Hood women's swim team (4-7) downed the Gallaudet University Bison in a nonconference dual meet, 104-99, Saturday afternoon.  Hayley Rogers and Lindsay Cronin were both double winners for the Blazers, who won a total of six individual events on the day.  The Hood men's swim team (4-6) won seven individual events and set a school record in the final event of the day in a 113-92 nonconference dual meet over the Gallaudet University Bison Saturday afternoon.   The 200 free relay team of Alex Bodine, Andrew Bodine, Jon Collier and Robbie Ennis were victorious in 1:32.33, setting a school record by more than two seconds.  Alex Bodine and Andrew Bodine were both double winners for the Blazers in their individual events. Alex Bodine paced the field in the 50 free (23.19) and the 100 back (56.65) while Andrew Bodine won the 400 IM (4:39.96) and the 100 fly (58.37).

At Marymount, the Saints women’s swimming team split a pair of non-conference decisions in a double-dual meet on Saturday afternoon.  The Saints defeated former Capital Athletic Conference rival Catholic 133-128 but lost to Washington & Lee 150-108.  Anna Macedonia continued to impress, winning all four events she swam in on the day.  She posted a 59.66 to win the 100 backstroke while claiming the top spots in the 50 freestyle at 25.08 and the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:09.83.  Macedonia also teamed with Katie Moran, Meghan Morch and Casey Thomas to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:42.82.   Marymount’s men’s swimming team dropped a pair of non-conference decisions in a double-dual meet on Saturday afternoon.  The Saints fell to former Capital Athletic Conference rival Catholic 186-58 and lost to Washington & Lee 155-62. Tom Baroz posted the Saints’ top individual finish, placing second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.13.  Joseph Gardner finished third in the 200 breaststroke at 2:24.50.

At Gettysburg, the Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams dropped a dual meet at Gettysburg, with the women falling, 138.5-122.5, and the men falling, 145-117. 
Winners for the Eagle women included the 200 yard medley relay (Robin Brazier, Megan DeSmit, Kelly Scott, Jessica Singer) at 1:53.86; Brazier in the 100 backstroke at 1:02.37; DeSmit in the 100 breaststroke at 1:09.43; Amber Kerico in the 200 breaststroke at 2:29.48; Scott in the 100 yard butterfly at 1:02.06; and Alex Parrish in the 400 IM at 4:50.53.  The UMW men got wins from the 200 medley relay (Nick Eckhoff, Austin Clark, Billy Norfolk, Alex Anderson) at 1:36.44; Andrew Garofolo in the 1000 freestyle at 10:17.50; Anderson in the 100 backstroke at 53.03 and the 400 IM at 4:08.60; Peter Slattery in the 100 breaststroke at 59.91; and Billy Norfolk in the 100 butterfly at 52.30 and the 200 butterfly at 1:54.82.
