Marymount and St. Mary's Women's Swimming Post Top-Five Finishes at Yellow Jacket Invitational

Marymount and St. Mary's each claimed top-five finishes in a field of 13 teams to lead a group of three CAC teams at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon over the weekend.

The Saints took third place with a two-day total of 481 points, trailed closely by St. Mary's in fourth with 473 points. Frostburg State also competed in the event, claiming ninth with 99 points. 

Marymount won four individual events on the second day on its way to third place in the team standings, highlighted by Casey Thomas's meet record-setting performance in the 100 freestyle. 

St. Mary's junior Elaina Kohles secured three individual wins throughout the event, capturing the 500 freestyle, 400 individual medley, and setting a meet record in the 1650 freestyle.

Frostburg State junior Kaitlyn Donch led the Bobcats with a fourth-place finish in the 100 breastroke and fifth-place mark in the 200 breastroke.
