Mary Washington Junior Dallas Tarkenton Earns Second CAC Men's Swimming Weekly Honor
YORK, Pa. -- Mary Washington junior Dallas Tarkenton was selected as the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Jan. 19, 2016.

Mary Washington junior Dallas Tarkenton was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the second straight time after helping the Eagles to CAC wins over St. Mary's and Salisbury last week with three individual and three relay victories. Against St. Mary's, Tarkenton won the 100 butterfly at 51.35 and was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay. Against Salisbury, he won the 100 butterfly at 57.81 and the 200 butterfly at 2:14.06. He was also a member of the winning 200 medley relay at 1:50.31 and the 200 freestyle relay at 1:39.62.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
All six CAC squads were in action last week in a slate that included four conference meets ... Frostburg State fell to York 118-67 in its lone meet. Sophomore Christian March won the 50-yard freestyle (22.27) and touched second in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.94) for the Bobcats ... Marymount fell to both Salisbury (118-87) and Howard (102-83) ... Against Marymount, Salisbury's Peter Moyer picked up first-place finishes in the 200-meter freestyle in 2:01.55 and the 400-meter freestyle in 4:35.85 ... Matt Walchuck captured St. Mary's lone first-place finish in a 147.5-55.5 loss at Mary Washington, winning the 400 individual medley. Walchuck was also part of the second-place 200 freestyle relay and placed third in the 100 freestyle ... York went 3-0 last week with victories over Penn State Altoona (149-29) and Gallaudet (152-24) in a tri-meet and Frostburg State (118-67) in CAC action. Kyle Walthall captured four individuals golds and two relay wins for the Spartans. In the tri-meet, he swam the second leg of the 200 medley relay, won the 200 IM (2:02.73) and the 500 freestyle (5:06.63). Against FSU, Walthall swam the third leg of the 200 medley realy and secured wins in the 200 IM (2:03.05) and 100 breaststroke (57.45).
