YORK, Pa. -- Marymount junior Kievanna Lacey was selected as the CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 8, 2014.

Marymount junior Kievanna Lacey was honored as the CAC Player of the Week after leading the Saints to a trio of CAC victories. Lacey averaged 14 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.7 steals and 3.3 assists per contest in wins over Southern Virginia, Wesley and St. Mary's. Lacey nearly triple-doubled in the win over St. Mary's, notching 11 points, 11 rebounds and eight steals in leading the Saints to a 20-point victory. She also shot 53.3% from the field for the week.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Salisbury is tied for 24th in the WBCA/USA TODAY Top-25, and receiving votes in the D3hoops.com national poll ... Christopher Newport junior Jordan Miller set a career-high with 17 points at home against Southern Virginia, and then matched her finest scoring performance with 17 more at Frostburg State. The Captains went 2-0 last week and are now 6-2 on the year ... Sophomore Brianne Comden led Mary Washington to a pair of CAC wins, scoring 11 points in the Eagles' 66-30 win over Frostburg State, and scoring a game-high 16 in the Eagles' 64-47 win at York ... St. Mary's sophomore Nina Haller tallied a career-best 22 points on a season-best 8-of-10 shooting vs. Salisbury. She finished the week with career-high six blocks at Marymount ... Salisbury posted a 2-0 week to remain the only team in the conference with an unblemished overall record at 7-0. Anna Hackett averaged 17.0 ppg on the week to pace the Sea Gulls. She went 4-for-5 from three-range against Penn State Harrisburg, tying her career record for three-pointers made in a game ... Wesley's Brionna Johnson posted a pair of double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Wolverines.
