Marymount senior Miranda Krott was named the CAC Player of the Week after guiding the Saints to another 2-0 week in league play to remain the only squad with an unblemished record at 6-0. Krott averaged 11.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 assists while shooting 52.9% from the floor as Marymount defeated Frostburg State and No. 25 York in a battle for first place. Against Frostburg State, she posted 13 points and eight rebounds to go along with two assists and a block. Against York she notched her second double-double in a three-game stretch with 10 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high five steals.

York became the first CAC team to enter the national top 25 last week at No. 25 in the WBCA/USA TODAY Rankings ... York (9) and Mary Washington (1) received votes in the D3hoops.com Week 4 rankings ... Christopher Newport went 2-0 last week with victories over Penn State Harrisburg and Wesley, improving the Captains to 4-2 in CAC play. CNU has won six straight games while averaging 81.3 points per game and holding opponents to just 50.3 points per game. The Captains rank in the top five nationally in scoring margin ... Frostburg State's Megan Kelly averaged 15.0 PPG in two games last week, including a 22 point effort against St. Mary's. Junior Kirsten Rayner averaged 9.0 PPG and grabbed 10.5 RPG for the Bobcats ... Junior Brianne Comden led Mary Washington to three wins this week, averaging 17.3 PPG, including 21.0 PPG as the Eagles picked up CAC wins over Wesley and Salisbury. She scored 10 points and added six rebounds in the Eagles' 61-34 win over Shenandoah, then had 25 points and four caroms against Wesley. Her 17 points led the Eagles to a 52-36 win over Salisbury on Saturday ... Nina Haller collected two double-doubles as St. Mary's snapped a seven-game skid in a 1-2 week. Haller started the week with 11 points and a game-best nine rebounds in a road loss to McDaniel. She followed that up with 14 points and a game-high 11 boards plus a season-best five blocks in the road loss to Southern Virginia. Haller finished the week with her sixth double-double of the season as she picked up a season-best 20 points and 10 rebounds plus a game-high four blocks in the team's second CAC win of the year over Frostburg State ... Wesley's Tiyanna Gibbs continued to pace the Wolverines in scoring this week, averaging 10.0 points per game in two tough CAC battles ... York's Morgan Kuehne had a career-high 29 points in the overtime win over Salisbury. The Spartans snapped Salisbury's 23-game home win streak.
