FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Marymount sophomore Regan Lohr was selected as the CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 4, 2017.

Marymount sophomore Regan Lohr was selected as the CAC Player of the Week after leading the Saints to a 3-0 week with averages of 15.3 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. She also added 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game and shot 51.5% (17-for-33) from the field and 58.3% (7-for-12) from three-point range. She scored a career-high 25 points in the Saints' convincing CAC road win at St. Mary's on Saturday, 21 of which came in a decisive first half in which Marymount built a 20-point lead. She also had a career-high seven assists versus Shenandoah on Monday.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Christopher Newport is ranked No. 2 in the D3hoops.com and No. 3 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) rankings, while Marymount is No. 23 in the D3hoops.com poll ... CNU (6-0, 2-0 CAC) is the lone unbeaten remaining in the conference, while Marymount and York are also 2-0 in CAC play ... CNU's Bailey Dufrene reached double figures in both wins last week, averaging 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 52.6% (10-for-19) ... Junior Megan Kelly led Frostburg State in scoring last week with 29 points in three games. She scored a season-high 17 in a win over Penn State Harrisburg ... Junior Meghan Comer averaged 12.0 PPG and five rebounds per game this week for Mary Washington. Her 16 points led the way in a 68-57 win over St. Mary's on Wednesday ... Hallie Persell paced St. Mary's in scoring as Persell averaged 9.5 points in an 0-2 week for the Seahawks. She started the week with a team-best 12 points at Mary Washington ... Salisbury junior Megan Konig averaged 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Sea Gulls. The junior guard shot 47.6% from the field and went 2-for-3 from beyond the arc. Konig also averaged 1.0 assist, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 block in the two games ... Wesley junior Monshea Newome-Murray notched 39 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists on the week ... York senior Morgan Kuehne led the Spartans to a 2-0 week in CAC action. On Wednesday, Kuehne led the Spartans with 17 points, nine rebounds, and one assist in their road win at Wesley. Kuehne was 6-for-11 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the free throw line. She followed that with 13 points and four rebounds in the Spartans' win over Mary Washington, snapping a three-game losing streak against the Eagles. For the week, Kuehne averaged 15 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She shot 50% from the floor, 60% (3-for-5) from three, and 83.3% from three. For the season, Kuehne is third on the team in scoring at 11.2 points while she is also collecting 4.5 rebounds per game. She is shooting 45.8% from the floor, 53.8% from three and 50% from the stripe.
