York's Anna Moore Named CAC Golfer of the Week

York freshman Anna Moore led the Spartans to a tournament championship as the Spartans won the Inaugural Spartan Invitational this past weekend. Moore finished tied for second in the tournament as she shot a two-day total of 157. Moore carded an opening round 76 and followed that with an 81 to earn the second place finish. Moore was four strokes back of tournament champion Emily Gilbert from Alvernia. For the season, Moore has York's second-best scoring average at 80.93 strokes per round. She has not recorded two top-five finishes and six top ten finishes in her seven tournaments for the year.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Mary Washington's Andrea Dill tied for 10th at the York College Spartan Invitational this weekend, shooting a +18 over 36 holes for a score of 164...Southern Virginia's Bailey Rusick-Vinson capped off her weekend winning the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational and pacing the Knights for the team win. The senior shot an 88 on the day earning the three-stroke victory.
