Frostburg State Senior Stephanie Fazenbaker and St. Mary's Junior Maria Bertoni Selected as CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Frostburg State senior Stephanie Fazenbaker and St. Mary's junior Maria Bertoni were named the CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week for Oct. 13, 2014.

Frostburg State senior Stephanie Fazenbaker earned CAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades after scoring three times in a 2-0 week for the Bobcats. Fazenbaker found the back of the net once in a 3-0 triumph over Mary Washington, and concluded the week with both scores in a 2-0 victory against Marymount.

St. Mary's junior defender Maria Bertoni was selected as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Seahawks shut out Salisbury in their lone contest of the week. Bertoni and the St. Mary's defense held Salisbury scoreless in a 2-0 win, giving the Seahawks their first win over the Sea Gulls since 2005 and just its fourth win in the all-time series. Bertoni also added an insurance goal in the 80th minute.
