YORK, Pa. -- Frostburg State junior Macey Nitchie was selected as the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 15, 2016.

Frostburg State junior Macey Nitchie was selected as the CAC Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week after helping the Bobcats make history by winning their first-ever CAC dual meet in a 148-113 defeat of St. Mary's. Nitchie won all four of her events and set two new school records. She collected first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle (2:14.00), 50 freestyle (27.55), 400 freestyle (4:47.89; school record), and anchored the 200 freestyle relay (1:56.13; school record).

In the only CAC meet last week, Frostburg State earned its first-ever CAC dual meet victory with a 148-113 defeat of St. Mary's ... Mary Washington and York are unbeaten in CAC duals at 2-0 ... Four CAC squads boast winning records so far this year - UMW (4-1), York (3-1), Marymount (2-1), and Frostburg State (6-3) ... UMW's Anna Corley took first place in the 200 yard backstroke against national power Johns Hopkins on Friday night, as the Eagles split their dual-dual meet with JHU and Franklin & Marshall. She touched the wall at 2:12.24, more than three full seconds ahead of the second place finisher ... St. Mary's Rachel Sonnenberg earned three gold medals against Frostburg State two individual wins (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly) and one relay triumph ... Salisbury's Bizunesh Baldinazzo earned a trio of second-place finishes for the Sea Gulls against Washington College on Wednesday, before winning the 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle against Penn State Altoona on Saturday ... York's Maddy Mann posted her fourth multiple-win meet of the year against Washington & Jefferson with wins in the 100 freestyle (56.08) and 200 freestyle (2:02.26). Mann leads the Spartans with eight individual wins for the year.
