ABCA / Rawlings All-America Team 

A trio of CAC baseball players received American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) / Rawlings All-America honors. Christopher Newport third baseman Seth Woodard and Salisbury starting pitcher Connor Reeves were named to the first team, while Wesley shortstop Chris Seibert collected third team accolades. 

Woodard, the CAC Player of the Year, slashed .386/.511/.705 while driving in 65 runs and scoring 57 times this spring. The junior added 36 walks,13 hit-by-pitch at-bats, and a pair of intentional walks. He led the team with 13 home runs, tied for the fourth most in a single season, and ranked second on the team in doubles, with 17, ranking in the top ten all-time at CNU. 

Reeves, a senior, was recently named the South Region Pitcher of the Year by both the ABCA and D3baseball.com. He finished the year with a 14-3 record, breaking both school and CAC records for single-season wins. He also leads all of Division III in wins, as well as WHIP at 0.73. Reeves helped lead the Sea Gulls to their third straight CAC championship. He amassed 113 strikeouts over 120 2/3 innings of work, including six complete games and three shutouts.

Seibert led the CAC in hitting (.475), on-base percentage (.552) and slugging percentage (.850). He currently ranks fifth in NCAA Division III in batting average and on-base percentage and seventh in slugging percentage. Seibert tied for third in the CAC in home runs (10) and tied for seventh in runs batted in (43) and doubles (13).
