About The C2C

Mission Statement:
Our country is as diverse geographically as it is culturally. The Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference celebrates this diversity from our membership, consisting of small, private institutions, faith-based institutions, and large, public institutions; the C2C is a microcosm of our society and embraces the cultural exchange opportunities presented by our student-athletes engaging in competition against each other. In a time when many athletic conferences are looking to minimize travel, the C2C celebrates the boundless opportunity provided by visiting other parts of the country – and coming home with a trophy!

The C2C provides Championship experiences for our student-athletes that will last a lifetime by creating destination-based conference championships that prepare our students for success in the NCAA tournament.

Multi-cultural… Competitive… Inventive… Collaborative… All words that describe the ethos of a conference that dares to prepare our students for success in championships and successful lives in an increasingly diverse world.

A: M&W Basketball, M&W Soccer, W Volleyball
——
Q: Will member schools compete against each other in regular-season competition?

Q: How will championship events be conducted?
A: Championship host sites are pre-determined to allow institutions to plan for travel. Seeding in conference tournaments will be done solely by the MasseyRatings except for in field hockey and baseball where all schools play each other in a round robin schedule. The host institution is automatically invited to participate in the championship tournament. All institutions are able to opt-out of competing in a particular championship given they provide appropriate notice to the conference office.
——
Q: How do student-athletes benefit from being in a conference that stretches from coast-to-coast?
A: The C2C will conduct quality championship experiences for our student-athletes and institutions. Our student-athletes will be given the opportunity to travel to and compete against a diverse group of institutions across the nation.
——
Q: What is our goal?
A: Stabilize membership and retain automatic qualifiers to NCAA Championships in order to prepare our champions for NCAA Postseason.
