The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 11th week of the 2024 baseball season. Salisbury's Tim Petrucelli was named C2C Player of the Week, while the Sea Gulls Aidan Brinsfield claimed C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tim Petrucelli, Salisbury

Tim Petrucelli slashed .643/.750/1.571 with four doubles, three home runs, seven RBIs, and 11 runs scored over the Sea Gulls' 4-0 week. Petrucelli homered in three straight games, including a solo shot on Saturday against Mary Washington that helped provide the difference in a 5-4 SU win.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Aidan Brinsfield, Salisbury

Freshman Aidan Brinsfield pitched an eight-inning complete-game shutout to help the Sea Gulls beat Neumann 10-0 on Tuesday. Brinsfield gave up just two hits and one walk while striking out 10 Knights in his most dominant start of the year.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Lincoln Lubsen reached base in three of his four plate appearances with a hit, a walk, and a HBP ... Blasted his second grand slam of the season and led the Captains with four RBI and three runs scored in an 18-3 win at Eastern Mennonite.
