Salisbury’s Jordan Oates Selected C2C Men's Basketball Player of the Week
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 14th week of the 2023-24 men's basketball season. Salisbury senior Jordan Oates earned C2C Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jordan Oates, Salisbury
Oates set a new career-high for the second consecutive week, dropping 37 of Salisbury's 64 points against Mary Washington on Feb. 14 while hauling in 16 rebounds for his sixth consecutive double-double. He narrowly missed his seventh straight in Salisbury's victory over No. 20 CNU on Feb. 17, logging 17 points and nine boards while collecting three assists and blocking a trio of Captain shots. Oates ranks second in the C2C in scoring (16.6) and leads in rebounding (12.6), ranking fourth in Division III in total boards. He is the first Sea Gull in the last decade to average 15+ points and 10+ rebounds in a season.

Zack Blue, Mary Washington; Patrick O'Gorman, Pratt
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Senior guard Zack Blue averaged 15.5 points per game this week, as Mary Washington split a pair of contests. He netted 15 points, including the game winner with two seconds left, as the Eagles defeated Salisbury, 65-64, on Wednesday. He scored 16 points on 7-13 shooting in a 70-59 loss at #2 Hampden-Sydney on Saturday. For the week, he shot 12-26 from the floor, and added 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game… Pratt senior Patrick O'Gorman averaged a near double-double with 23.0 points and 9.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals over a two-game stretch. In the Cannoneers win over Five Towns in their regular season finale, O'Gorman had a game-high 22 with eight assists and five steals.
