St. Mary's Junior Dennis Rosson Named CAC Men's Lacrosse Player Of The Week

St. Marys junior attackman DENNIS ROSSON (Severna Park, Md./The Severn School) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring 12 points on nine goals and three assists in three games, helping the Seahawks clinch the No. 3 seed in the CAC Tournament and advance to the conference semifinals. Rossons best statistical game was a five-goal, one assist performance against third-ranked Stevenson. He also chipped in two goals and an assist in wins against Mary Washington and Wesley, the latter in the opening round of the 2010 conference playoffs.

Salisbury senior attackman JAKE DeLILLO (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after contributing eight points in a pair of CAC wins for the top-ranked Sea Gulls. DeLillo found the net a game-high four times on five shots in a mid-week victory over St. Marys, handing the Seahawks their first conference setback of the season, then added a goal and three assists in Saturdays victory over Hood.

Salisbury junior goalkeeper JOHNNY RODRIGUEZ (Gambrils, Md./Mt. St. Joseph) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after leading the second-ranked Gulls to their third victory of the season against the No. 1 team in the country. Rodriguez posted a season-high 15 saves in Saturdays triumph at Stevenson, holding the nations fourth-best scoring offense to a season-low 10 goals, including just two goals in the second half. Rodriguez also had six saves in a mid-week victory vs. Mary Washington.

Salisbury sophomore midfielder SAM BRADMAN (Canton, N.Y./Canton) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring four goals, including the game-winner in overtime, of Saturdays victory over top-ranked Gettysburg. Bradman, who also had an assist in the 11-10 triumph over the Bullets, also chipped in two scores and two helpers in a mid-week CAC win over Wesley as well as four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the two games.
Stevenson's Steve Kazimer Captures CAC Men's Lacrosse Player Of The Week Award

Stevenson senior attack STEVE KAZIMER (Syracuse, N.Y./Henninger) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after contributing 13 points on seven goals and six assists as the second-ranked Mustangs remained undefeated with wins over two nationally-ranked foes. Kazimer started the week with three goals and three assists in a victory over 15th-ranked Stevens Inst. of Technology. Saturday, Kazimer contributed to seven of Stevensons 12 goals in a come-from-behind road win at 18th-ranked Lynchburg. Two of his three goals, and three of his four assists, against Lynchburg were registered during a 5-0 fourth-quarter run that gave the Mustangs their first lead of the game.

Salisbury sophomore midfielder SAM BRADMAN (Canton, N.Y./Canton) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after contributing 13 points on eight goals and five assists, leading the fourth-ranked Sea Gulls to a pair of victories over nationally-ranked opponents. Bradman found the net four times and added two assists, including a helper on the game-winning goal, in a 12-11 win over defending national champion Cortland State. He followed that with a four-goal, three assist effort in a victory over 15th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan, raising his six-game season total to 33 points.

Stevenson junior attack RICHIE FORD (Baltimore, Md./Towson) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring five goals and five assists in two wins for the second-ranked Mustangs. After contributing to six goals (2 G, 4 A) in a win over RIT, Ford keyed an 11-5 win over 16th-ranked Western New England by scoring a hat trick and adding an assist. Ford leads Stevenson with 21 points this season (11 goals, 10 assists).
York's Josh Gamble Named CAC Men's Lacrosse Player Of The Week

York junior attack JOSH GAMBLE (Easton, Md./Easton) was named the CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring a game-high six goals and adding an assist on the game-winning goal as the Spartans picked up their first win of the season against St. Vincent. Half of Gambles six goals were scored in the decisive fourth quarter, when YCP broke open a 9-8 lead for a five-goal victory.

Salisbury sophomore attackman MATT CANNONE (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport) was named the first CAC Mens Lacrosse Player of the Week this season after scoring four goals and an assist in each of the Sea Gulls first two games of the season - wins at Greensboro and at home against 18th-ranked Lynchburg. Cannone also had six ground balls in the two games for the fourth-ranked Gulls.
