Salisbury Men's Lacrosse Vies for National Championship on Sunday

Third-ranked Salisbury will vie for its 11th men's lacrosse national title and the 19th national championship in CAC history across all sports on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. at 1 p.m. The Sea Gulls will meet fourth-ranked and two-time defending champion Tufts in the title game for the second time in the last three years. 

Salisbury advanced to the championship game with a 14-6 victory over Gettysburg at Sea Gull Stadium, while Tufts made it back to the title showdown with a 23-12 trimph over St. Lawrence. 

The Sea Gulls and Jumbos have met three times prior, with all three matchups occuring in the national title game. Tufts holds a 2-1 edge in the series. Most recently, Tufts downed the Sea Gulls in the 2014 national championship, 12-9.
