Frostburg State Downs Hood To Gain 5th Seed In 2012 CAC Men's Tennis Championship
Frostburg State defeated Hood on Tuesday, 9-0, to clinch the No. 5 seed in the 2012 CAC men's tennis championship tournament. FSU's win also secures the No. 6 seed in the playoffs for Stevenson.

Christian highlighted the victory by recording 6-0,
6-0 shutouts in the third and fourth spots. The duo teamed up
in No. 2 doubles position and dominated for an 8-0
victory.
Mike Stevenson and Aaron
Littlejohn picked up an 8-3 win in the No. 1 doubles
position, and Ramon Gutierrez,
Martin Dize and Stevenson all won their
singles matches.
In the opening round of the playoffs Sunday (4/22), #5 FSU will
play at #4 York while #6 Stevenson visits #3 Salisbury.
The winners will advance to the semifinal round on April 24, where #1 Mary Washington and #2 St. Mary's will be waiting after having a bye in the first round. The championship match is set to be played on April 27.
