The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the first week of the 2024 spring tennis season. Christopher Newport senior Edvard Porsmyr Hansen claimed C2C Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors.

MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Edvard Porsmyr Hansen, Christopher Newport

The senior won all four of his matches in two wins for the Captains this week ... Paired with Ashton Legum for a pair of wins at No. 2 doubles ... Improved to 8-1 in doubles this season ... Also earned wins at No. 1 singles against Hampden-Sydney and Virginia Wesleyan.

HONORABLE MENTION

MEN: Christopher Catan, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Catan won all five of his matches during Salisbury's two-day Round Robin against Stevens over the weekend. Catan secured a trio of singles victories, including one whose third set went to 13-11, and teamed up with Russell Willenborg to triumph in a pair of doubles tilts.
