Salisbury freshman Luke Campbell qualified for his second final, as he finished the 110-meter preliminary round with the fourth-fastest time, advancing to Saturday's final. Campbell ran his preliminary race in personal-record time of 14.43 seconds, just .16 of a second off school-record time.

Wesley College's Matt Bundy finished 14^th in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.  Bundy finished the race in 14.78.

Campbell will also compete in the 400-meter hurdles final on Saturday.

The Sea Gulls saw their first competition in an event final at the 2013 NCAA Division III Championships on Friday as freshman Xavier Stinson narrowly missed reaching All-American status, and the Sea Gulls qualified for another championship field.

Stinson, in his first championship performance, cleared each of the first three heights on his first attempt. He needed all three tries before clearing 6' 8", and failed to successfully clear 6' 9". Stinson's top height put him in a tie for 10th place, just two spots outside of All-American status.

Sophomore Tyler Austin competed in the 100-meter dash preliminary round on Friday, placing 16th, with a time of 10.86 seconds. Austin was less than .10 of a second from qualifying for Saturday's finals.

Salisbury will have four shots at event finals on Saturday. Campbell will run in his two hurdles races, while senior Chelsea Tavik will be in action for the final time in her collegiate career, taking to the circle in the shot put and javelin.
