Hood freshman pitcher/outfielder ERIN McNALLY (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .452 with eight runs scored and nine RBI in a 10-game week for the Blazers that included doubleheader sweeps against CAC rivals Mary Washington and Stevenson. McNally had seven multi-hit games and contributed the game-winning double down the left field line in the ninth inning in Game 1 at Stevenson.

Stevenson senior pitcher/infielder SARAH MOELTER (Timonium, Md./Dulaney) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after compiling a 0.91 ERA in 15.1 innings over three appearances last week. Her performances included a complete-game, four-hit shutout against Mary Washington.

York senior shortstop HEATHER BORMANN (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after batting .529 and leading the Spartans to five wins in six games, including three CAC victories. Bormann was 9-for-17 at the plate with three doubles and a grand slam, 10 RBI, six runs scored, a .526 on-base percentage and an .882 slugging percentage. She was also perfect in 23 fielding attempts in the six contests.

Salisbury Jr., pitcher KELLY LEARY (Severn, Md./Glen Burnie) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after posting a 3-0 record in four appearances for the 18th-ranked Sea Gulls. Leary struck out 33 batters in 22.1 innings. She allowed just one run on eight hits for a 0.31 earned run average and a .108 opponent batting average.

Mary Washington sophomore 3B/P ELIZABETH CROWE (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .750 (6-for-8) with a double, three homers, six walks and 10 RBI as the Eagles won four games last week. Crowe also pitched the Eagles to a pair of victories, allowing one run on two walks and 10 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Salisbury senior catcher LAUREN BRENNEMAN (York, Pa./Central York) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after hitting .542 (13-for-24) with three doubles, five homers, two walks, 13 runs scored and 15 RBI. She had a .577 on-base percentage and a 1.292 slugging percentage in eight games. Defensively, Brenneman averaged nearly six putouts and an assist per game in leading the 22nd-ranked Sea Gulls to a 7-1 record last week.

York sophomore pitcher BRITTANY THERRES (Hughesville, Md./Thomas Stone) was named the CAC Softball Player of the Week after leading the Spartans to a pair of season-opening wins at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fla. She hurled nine shutout innings, including a complete-game 1-0 victory over RIT. She allowed just four hits (.121 opponent batting average) and no walks while fanning four.
