Nine CAC Softball Players Earn NFCA All-Region Accolades
Nine softball players from the Capital Athletic Conference - five from Christopher Newport and four from Salisbury - have been honored as all-region selections by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
For Salisbury, senior Rachel Johnson and juniors Kim Dorsey and Paige Knussman landed on the first team, while junior Annah Brittingham received second team honors.
For CNU, senior Sabrina Hill and junior Meagan Jones were named second team all-region, freshman Brittney Walters, junior Tori Clarke and junior Scoop Simon garnered third team recognition.
