Salisbury’s Nicole Miller Claims C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fifth week of the 2023 women's basketball season. Salisbury freshman Nicole Miller was tabbed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nicole Miller, Salisbury
Miller was the Sea Gulls top scorer during the week, averaging 11.5 points per game on 43.5 percent shooting. In addition to her shooting, she grabbed seven rebounds, dished out an assist, and only committed two turnovers in win over Gallaudet and loss at Marymount.
HONORABLE MENTION
Lilli Hammons, UC Santa Cruz; Jordan Carpenter, Mary Washington
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Lilli Hammons had first double-double of the season in UC Santa Cruz loss against Menlo. Scored career-high 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds, along with two assists and two steals… No. 22 Mary Washington's Jordan Carpenter recorded her seventh double-double of the season in loss to Messiah. The senior scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting while coming down with 12 boards. On the defensive end, the wing recorded three steals and a block on Saturday.
