Mary Washington’s Jordan Carpenter Claims C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the eighth week of the 2023-24 women's basketball season. Mary Washington senior Jordan Carpenter was named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jordan Carpenter, Mary Washington
Senior Jordan Carpenter tallied her 11th double-double of the season in Mary Washington's victory over Lynchburg on Friday night, 83-36, scoring 21 points and reeling in 12 rebounds. The wing shot 10-of-17 from the floor (58.8%) and added four assists, while turning the ball over just once. Carpenter added five steals to her C2C lead of 36 this season and a block.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS
In a 2-0 week for Mount Mary, Joselyn Gonzales averaged 15.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game. She also shot 62 percent from the floor and blocked 6 shots in the two wins over Northland and Maranatha Baptist… Alivia Giles helped lead Christopher Newport to a pair of wins this week against Rowan and Cheyney ... Averaged a team-high 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game ... Shot 72.2 percent from the field (13-18) including a three-pointer against Cheyney ... Played just 17 minutes per game but managed to pour in 30 points, grab 11 rebounds, dish three assists, earn four steals, and swat one shot for the week… Salisbury's Tori Rumbaugh began the week with an eight-point, two-rebound performance against Shenandoah on Jan 3. She stuffed multiple categories on the stat sheet against Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, recording seven points, five assists, four rebounds, and a block against the Diplomats.
