Mount Mary’s Na'Zyia Bobo Named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2023-24 women's basketball season. Mount Mary freshman Na'Zyia Bobo earned C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Na'Zyia Bobo, Mount Mary
In the Blue Angels win at Andrews, Bobo scored 23 points on 9-16 shooting from the floor and 5-9 from the 3-point line. She added four rebounds and three steals. The win for MMU was their third straight and set a program record for consecutive road wins.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Caitlin Crump logged back-to-back double-doubles for Christopher Newport, becoming the first player to accomplish that feat this season for the Captains ... Finished with a team-high 16 points and 11 rebounds against Meredith on Wednesday, in just 22 minutes, and then added 13 points and 10 rebounds against Warren Wilson ... Chipped in eight assists, five steals, and two blocks in the two wins as Christopher Newport extended their win streak to seven games… Senior Jordan Carpenter led Mary Washington to a victory over Stevenson last Monday, Jan. 15, in a blowout, 108-45. The Eagles' wing recorded 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting and converted her lone attempt from the field. The three-time Coast-to-Coast Conference Player of the Week grabbed six rebounds in her 22 minutes of play, while adding three assists on the offensive end. Carpenter, a Chesterfield, Va. native, added two steals to her team-high of 38, and just turned the basketball over just once… UC Santa Cruz's Amanda Inserra moved to 10th all time on school's career scoring list. Had 20 points including 4-12 from three and five assists in 120-53 home win over Bethesda that set school record for most team points in a game. The senior shot 35.3% from the field and made all four free throws. In loss to Menlo, had 15 points while shooting 60% for the game… Pratt's Kylie Grant scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds in home loss against SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday. The junior crossed 900 points for her collegiate career sitting at 913.
