The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 12th week of the 2023-24 women's basketball season. Christopher Newport senior Camille Malagar claimed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Camille Malagar, Christopher Newport

Scored a team-high 19 points in a 74-56 win over Mary Washington this week, knocking down

6-of-11 shots from the field ... Played just 21 minutes in the win, but knocked down a career-high three shots from beyond the arc ... Also grabbed two rebounds, dished one assist, and added one steal.

Jordan Carpenter, Mary Washington; Alexa Litchev, UC Santa Cruz; Hailey Ader, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Mary Washington's Jordan Carpenter contributed 11.5 points-per-game in the Eagles' two games this week. Against CNU, Carpenter scored 11, then scored 12 in UMW's victory over Salisbury. The Chesterfield, Va. native recorded her 14th double-double of the season in Mary Washington's 20-point win over Salisbury on Saturday… UC Santa Cruz's Alexa Litchev had a season-high 20 points, including 14 in second half of comeback win at La Verne on Saturday. Also had 11 rebounds for third double-double of the year.  She averaged 12 points and 7.7 rebounds over the three games last week… Hailey Ader averaged seven points and 5.5 rebounds over Salisbury's two games for the week. On Saturday against Mary Washington, she netted 10 points with five boards.
