The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 13th week of the 2023-24 women's basketball season. Christopher Newport junior Hannah Kaloi earned C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week distinction.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hannah Kaloi, Christopher Newport

Kaloi scored what would hold up as the game-winning basket with less than a minute remaining at Mary Washington, laying in a pass from Katy Rader to take a 56-55 lead with 52 seconds on the clock ... Added the final two free-throws for the final score, 60-55, as she helped lead CNU in a 12-0 run at the end of the game to capture a road win... Finished with a game-high 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting including one three pointer and a 4-for-4 day at the stripe ... Added three rebounds, one assist, and two steals ... Helped the Captains win a 40th consecutive road game, extending the Division III record

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Sym Deloatch finished just shy of a double-double, setting career highs with 16 points and nine rebounds in Salisbury's 81-62 win at Lancaster Bible on Saturday. Deloatch made 7-of-12 field goal attempts and hauled in four offensive boards… Mary Washington's Jordan Carpenter scored a team-high 19 points in the Eagles' victory over New Jersey City on Sunday afternoon. The senior shot 9-of-13 from the field and added 14 rebounds for a double-double. The wing also added three assists and a steal against the Knights. In UMW's loss to Christopher Newport on Wednesday, Carpenter added four points and five rebounds with six assists and a pair of blocks… Pratt guard Kylie Grant recorded a pair of double-doubles, averaging 15.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals over a three-game week. On Sunday, the junior tallied 16 points and joined the coveted 1,000-point scoring club, reaching the milestone in 56 games.
