Salisbury’s Hanzsche and Davis Collect C2C Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Awards
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the opening week of the 2024 women's lacrosse season. Salisbury's Mary Hanzsche was tabbed C2C Offensive Player of the Week, while the Sea Gulls Madeline Davis captured C2C Defensive Player of the Week acclaim.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mary Hanzsche, Salisbury
Hanzsche led the Sea Gull attack in Saturday's 20-7 victory over Stevenson, logging five points on two goals and three assists. She also caused a Mustang turnover in the outing.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Madeline Davis, Salisbury
Davis headlined a strong showing for the Salisbury defense, causing a pair of Stevenson errors while collecting a ground ball as well. The Sea Gulls caused nine Mustang turnovers in the 20-7 victory on Saturday.
