UMW’s Crowley, SU’s Held Claim C2C Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors
The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the second week of the 2024 women's lacrosse season. Mary Washington's Bridget Crowley was named C2C Offensive Player of the Week, while Salisbury's Natalie Held claimed C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bridget Crowley, Mary Washington
Senior Bridget Crowley scored four goals and three assists to lead Mary Washington to a season-opening 17-6 win over Lynchburg on Saturday. Her four goals and three assists are both new career highs for Crowley.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Natalie Held, Salisbury
Held helped elevate the Sea Gull defense that allowed just one goal on Saturday afternoon. Held picked up a team-high five ground balls and forced a pair of Catholic errors in the 14-1 victory.
HONORABLE MENTION
OFFENSE: Camryn Pepper, Salisbury
C2C HIGHLIGHTS
Camryn Pepper served as Salisbury's offensive catalyst against Catholic, tying her career-best with a game-high six points on two goals and four assists in the squad's 14-1 victory. Pepper added a pair of ground balls in the win.
