2024 All-C2C Women's Lacrosse Awards Revealed
The 2024 All-C2C Women's Lacrosse Individual Awards have been announced:
Offensive Player of the Year - Kelsey Winters, Christopher Newport
For the second straight year, Winters received C2C top offensive honors with a league-best 90 points and 68 assists. She set a new C2C record for career points and broke her own CNU program record for assists this season.
Defensive Player of the Year - Natalie Held, Salisbury
Held repeated as the league's top defensive player and helped the Sea Gulls hold opponents to 7.94 goals per game. She leads Salisbury in caused turnovers (31) and ground balls (45). Held is also a mainstay in the draw for the Sea Gulls, accumulating a team-best 66 draw controls.
Rookie of the Year - Carys May, Christopher Newport
May has started all 15 games for the Captains in her first year. She has supported the CNU defense with 13 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.
Scholar Athlete of the Year - Katie Blair, Mary Washington
Blair, a psychology major and neuroscience minor, claimed top honors as an outstanding student and athlete. She led the Eagles with 49 goals and 61 points this season.
Coaching Staff of the Year - Lisa Valentine, Christopher Newport
Valentine earned coach of the year recognition for the first time after guiding CNU to a 13-6 record. She has been at the helm for the Captains since 2016 with a 90-67 overall record.
Offensive Player of the Year - Kelsey Winters, Christopher Newport

Rookie of the Year - Carys May, Christopher Newport
Scholar Athlete of the Year - Katie Blair, Mary Washington
