Frostburg State, Penn State Harrisburg Drop ECAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinal Contests
Frostburg State and Penn State Harrisburg both suffered one-goal losses in the quarterfinal round of the ECAC Women's Soccer Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats conclude the year with a record of 10-9-2, while Penn State Harrisburg ends the year at 12-9.
In Frostburg, Md., Frostburg State fell to Grove City 1-0. Despite not being able to muster a goal, Frostburg outshot Grove City 11-10. Grove City had the advantage in corner kicks with seven, while the Bobcats only had three.
In Reading, Pa., Penn State Harrisburg was defeated by host Alright, 2-0. Kayla Arnold made five saves for the Lions in net.
