2023 C2C Women's Soccer Awards, All-League Teams Revealed
The 2023 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Soccer awards have been announced. The following are this year's honorees, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
UC Santa Cruz's Sydney Boyd took home Offensive Player of the Year honors. She recorded 10 goals and six assists this year to lead the Banana Slugs.
Christopher Newport's Reanna Slater earned Defensive Player of the Year recognition. Slater helped the Captains to a 15-0-1 regular season record and guided the defense which ranks second nationally in shutout percentage (.875).
CNU's Amy Sidaway claimed Rookie of the Year distinction as a goalkeeper. She leads Division III in both goals against average (0.086) and save percentage (.960) and has surrendered just a single goal, on a penalty kick, and has eight shutout wins.
The Captains Natalie Swarm, a cellular, molecular, and physiological biology major with a minor in leadership studies, was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She has three goals and two assists this season.
CNU's Jamie Gunderson was named Coaching Staff of the Year for the first time.
