Below is a brief preview of each team entering the 2024 season:

Mary Washington, the 19-time defending conference champion, enters the spring ranked 27th in the nation in the ITA rankings, and will rely on regionally ranked seniors Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey to lead the way. Both Hagino and Kimmey were named all-conference in both singles and doubles last spring and will move up to the top two spots in the lineup for the Eagles this year. Top six returnees Emily Beckner and Riley Smith also return to the fold, which gives second year head coach Alex Covington a veteran presence. UMW also welcomes back senior Alexandra Jaksec and sophomore Madison McCarty, as well as a large group of newcomers, including junior Linda Dimitroff and freshmen Jacey Copeland, Addison Felts, Olivia Geoghegan, and Evie Snyder.

Ranked No. 34 to start the 2024 season, the Christopher Newport women's tennis program is off to a 1-1 start in dual play this year. The Captains have a challenging schedule in front of them, set to face five nationally-ranked opponents this Spring, and will lean on a nationally-ranked veteran duo in Tessa Trate and Raine Weis. The top tandem for CNU women's tennis is ranked No. 17 in the nation after a strong fall campaign; Trate and Weis qualified for nationals in 2022 and were alternates last season. Also back this season are three more starters in Mia Linam, Kiersten Chang, and Megan Bauer.

UC Santa Cruz heads into the spring 2024 season with momentum, coming off one of the team's best fall campaigns in years.  The team clocks in at #37 nationally in the ITA preseason Division III poll. First-year head coach, Ross Pytko, will rely on returning starters Sara Beckman, Natalie Sprenger, Tanner Rowland, Meg Damojipurapu and Julia Azzi. First-year players Chloe Wu, Melody Ghaffari, and Sweden van Houten are also expected to make significant contributions to the team.

Salisbury returns five players from the 2022-23 group that saw its season conclude at the hands of No. 33 Mary Washington in the C2C Semifinals, finishing the campaign at 13-6 overall. Sarah Cooper and Hannah Carter headline the returners in single match play, posting a combined 22-9 record a season ago. In doubles, Carter and Evelyn Whiteside are back after posting a 13-3 record as a duo.

Pratt assembled an unblemished 7-0 mark in the fall with rookies Pallavi Verghese and Beatrice Crespo leading the lineup. Verghese assembled a 7-1 mark in singles with her lone loss coming at the ITA Regional Championship after scoring an upset of a top-16 seed in the opening round. Crespo also takes a 7-1 singles mark into the spring season. Veterans Nastazja Cancellaro and Julia Ognibene also return for the Cannoneers and both enter the spring undefeated in singles play.
