2023 All-C2C Volleyball Teams and Awards Revealed
The 2023 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Volleyball awards have been announced. The following are this year's honorees, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Christopher Newport's Alyssa Dozier headlined the awards as the Player of the Year. Dozier hit .340 with 298 kills and recorded .89 blocks per set.
CNU's Noelle Starr was named Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league in digs (528).
The Captains Samantha Dorn picked up Rookie of the Year honors after leading the C2C in kills (340) with double-digit kills in 18 games.
Salisbury's Kayla Pedersen, an accounting and information systems major, earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year distinction. She has recorded 2.28 digs per set this season.
Mary Washington's Alex Hinsey was named Coaching Staff of the Year for the first time. The Eagles are 27-3 this season.
