Six C2C Volleyball Standouts Attain AVCA All-Region Honors
The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday (Nov. 15) that six Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) volleyball standouts have been named to the AVCA All-Region teams.
Mary Washington had three honorees including Jordan Lyons on the first team. Caitlyn Burch and Chloe Crosen were honorable mention picks for the Eagles.
Christopher Newport's Sammy Carroll and Alyssa Dozier were named to the top team, while Salisbury's Gwen Eustace earned first-team distinction.
There are 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections for each of the 10 regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 200 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 105 different schools.
