2006 Capital Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country All-Conference Teams
ST. MARY’S CITY, MD - Salisbury University, the three-time defending Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champion placed five runners on the women’s cross country All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office. The Sea Gulls had three runners selected to the first team and two selections on the second team. Mary Washington finished second at the 2006 CAC Championships and placed four runners on the first team while third-place Catholic placed four runners on the second team. Catholic’s Remy Ball was selected as the Rookie of the Year while Salisbury’s Kelly Sullivan was selected as the Runner of the Year. Catholic head coach Joe Fisher was chosen by his peers as the 2006 CAC Coach of the Year.
