2007 Capital Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country All-Conference Team
ST. MARY'S CITY, MD - The University of Mary Washington, the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champion, placed six runners on the women's cross country All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office. The Eagles had four runners selected to the first team and two selections on the second team. Salisbury University finished second at the 2007 CAC Championships and placed two runners on the first team and five on the second team. Third-place York (Pa.) placed one runner on the first team with fourth-place Hood having one member on the second team.
York (Pa.) sophomore Melody Parshall was selected as the Rookie of the Year while Mary Washington's Cristy Falcone was selected as the Runner of the Year. Mary Washington head coach Stan Soper was chosen by his peers as the 2007 CAC Coach of the Year.
