Annandale, Va. | Annandale

Christopher Newport junior Rachael Allshouse received CAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades for the second time this season after totaling four goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Captains. Allshouse played a role in half of the team's goals and scored both game-winners against Centre and Frostburg State. On Friday, she scored both of CNU's goals during a 2-1 victory over Centre. On Sunday, she came back with five points, including two more goals, in an 8-0 win over Frostburg State. She had a hand in each of the team's first three goals against the Bobcats as she scored the first, assisted on the second, and capped off the week with a strike on the third. After driving home the clincher in both contests, she established a new single-season program record with six game-winning goals this year.

Seaford, Va. | York

Christopher Newport senior Alexa Weaver was named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after playing all 140 minutes while anchoring a defense that allowed just one goal and nine total shots in two victories last week. On Friday, she led CNU to a 2-1 triumph over Centre, who entered the contest ranked in the top-25 nationally in goals-per-game. Weaver helped limit the Colonels to just three shots, which marked the fewest by Centre since 2014. On Sunday, she guided CNU to its ninth shutout of the year with an 8-0 win over Frostburg State. Once again, she helped the defense limit the Bobcats to six total shots and shined on penalty corners. FSU earned five corners during the game but managed only two shots off of those attempts, and both were blocked by Weaver.
