YORK, Pa. -- Christopher Newport sophomore Harry Nodwell secured CAC Golfer of the Week honors for April 7, 2015.

Christopher Newport sophomore Harry Nodwell was named CAC Golfer of the Week for the second straight week after placing second at the Hershey Cup in the Captains final regular season event. Nodwell carded scores of 74-72 in the two-day event for a four-over 146, trailing only Carnegie Mellon's George Qian who finished at -1. He had four birdies in the first round and six in the second, including an 80-yard hole out for an Eagle on a 409-yard Par 4. Nodwell's efforts helped lead CNU to a 10th-place finish in the team standings.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Marymount finished in a third-place tie among six teams at the Stevenson Spring Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club on Monday. The Saints totaled 330 strokes (+46), led by Brad Johnson's tied for fifth-place mark with a eight-over 79 ... Penn State Harrisburg totaled a 312 strokes (24-over) to claim second place in a field of 14 teams at Lebanon Country Club, falling only to Messiah (298).  All five Penn State Harrisburg competitors placed in the top-20 of the 73-player field, led by Tyler Shank's seventh-place finish with a five-over 77.
