York Junior Kyle Walthall Secures CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- York junior Kyle Walthall was awarded as the the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for Nov. 4, 2014.

York junior Kyle Walthall was named the CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week after piling up four individual wins and a relay gold in two meets. He opened the week with wins in the 100 and 200 breaststroke against Mary Washington on Friday, posting two of the top times in the nation this year. His time of 2:07.30 in the 200 ranks third in Division III, while his 57.84 in the 100 ranks fourth. In the Spartans' win over Salisbury on Saturday, Walthall didn't swim his feature races but still managed to capture a pair of wins. He won the 200 IM in a time of 2:02.71, before cruising to victory in the 500 freestyle at 5:03.57. He was also a member of the winning 400 medley relay squad.
