FREDERICKBURG, Va. -- York freshman Keven Stahl secured his third consecutive CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week on Nov. 14, 2017.

York freshman Keven Stahl was named the CAC Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive week after posting the top times in the CAC in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly during the Spartans' non-conference win over Washington & Jefferson. Stahl won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:44.75, just .32 seconds off York's school record. He also won the 100 butterfly in 52.63. His 200 freestyle mark ranks 34th nationally. He owns the top CAC times in six events this season - the 100 free (48.17), 200 free (1:44.75), 500 free (4:41.57), 1,000 free (9:37.82), 100 fly (52.63), and 200 fly (1:55.88).

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Four CAC teams competed last week. In the only CAC meet of the week, St. Mary's defeated Frostburg State 145-113 ... In non-conference action, York downed Washington & Jefferson 134-56, while Salisbury fell to Washington College 142-63 ... Frostburg State senior Chistian March swept his individual events with first-place finishes as the Bobcats fell at St. Mary's. March, who now has 17 individual wins on the year, swam his way to first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.13), 100 (59.87) and 200 yard-breaststroke (2:16.42), while assisting a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:23.38) ... St. Mary's sophomore Peter Orban helped the 400 yard medley relay to a first-place finish against Frostburg State, and individually took first place in the 100 and 200 backstrokes ...Salisbury sophomore Josh Brown finished first in the 100-yard individual medley against Washington College on Wednesday with a time of 58.27 seconds. He also had second-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, with a time of 21.76 seconds, and the 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:03.35.
