York College senior Tim Hartung (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) closed out his outstanding collegiate career in late May. On Tuesday, Hartung collected another accolade as he was named to the first team Capital One Academic All-America as announced by CoSIDA. Hartung became just the second York College Spartan to earn first team honors in school history

Christopher Newport senior Richard Roethel capped off his career with a national title in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at Ohio Wesleyan. The national championship is the second career title for Roethel after also winning the 2012 heptathlon.
