St. Mary's senior Olivia Nowlin secured CAC Player of the Week honors after tallying a season-best 16 points to help the Seahawks snap a four-game skid with a 53-48 road win over Gallaudet. Nowlin shined in the fourth quarter, recording eight points and two steals down the stretch to help seal the five-point victory. She also sank a season-high seven free throws, shooting 7-for-9 from the line, and added a season-high three steals and three rebounds in the win.

Christopher Newport is ranked No. 2 in the D3hoops.com and No. 3 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) rankings, while Marymount is No. 23 in the D3hoops.com poll and receiving votes from the WBCA ... CNU (8-0, 4-0 CAC) is the lone unbeaten remaining in the conference, while Marymount (7-1, 4-0 CAC) is also 4-0 in CAC play ... Mary Washington freshman Tory Martin scored a team-high 11 points in 14 minutes as UMW fell at Emory & Henry, 66-45, on Saturday ... Wesley junior Stacey O'Neale netted a career-high 19 points against Rosemont ... York junior forward Katie McGowan tallied a career-high 24 points in the Spartans' Wednesday evening loss to No. 22 Scranton. McGowan was the lone Spartan in double figures in the 67-63 loss as she notched the career high on 10-of-23 shooting from the field while she also went 4-for-4 from the stripe. She also pulled in six rebounds, grabbed three steals and had a trio of blocks in the game. For the year, McGowan is averaging a team-best 15.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
