54 CAC Student Athletes Honored By National Field Hockey Coaches Association For Academic Achievement
The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and Gladiator Custom Mouthguards honored four teams and 54 players for academic success during the 2010 season.
Salisbury, St. Mary's, Stevenson and York were all recognized for compiling a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the season.
Salisbury also led the CAC with 12 players recognized on the 2010 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad.
St. Mary's was second among CAC teams with nine players on the squad, followed by CAC finalist Wesley (8), Hood (7), Stevenson (7), York (7) and conference champion Mary Washington (4).
